Vintage Drums from Oliver Pye
We specialise in the restoration and sales of vintage British-made drums from the 1950's to the 1990's, from such makers as Premier, Olympic, Beverley, Rose Morris, John Grey and Ajax.
The restoration process starts with the individual drums being completely disassembled right down to the last nut and bolt. All chromium plated components are polished and worn or missing items replaced with new or good vintage parts.
Original drum shell wraps are re-polished where possible. We also keep a selection of period style drum wraps in pearls, sparkles and glitters to give some of our projects a fantastic new look. New drum heads are often fitted to complete the restoration.

We keep a constantly changing stock of drum kits, snare drums, individual drums and vintage cymbals.
One or two items are always on display in our Kirkby Stephen shop, but the majority of our current stock is kept at our workshop. If you are interested in seeing any of our advertised vintage drums, please make an appointment beforehand (tel. 017683 72521) and we will ensure that the items are available on the day you come to Kirkby Stephen. Alternatively we would be pleased to arrange packing and delivery to you direct.
